Come and learn the basics of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. The American Heart Association has developed a course to teach people how to potentially save a life during a cardiac arrest. In the course, you will learn the basic steps for CPR and we will go over some first aid techniques for emergency situations. This class will be held in the Chisholm conference room at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

This class is co-presented by Jennifer Stevens & Denise White. Jennifer has worked at Franklin Memorial Hospital in the education department for the last nine years. She is a BLS instructor and also teaches Safe Sitter and Mental Health First Aid. She lives in Wilton with her husband, two dogs, and a cat and loves visiting her new grandbaby. Denise has been a nurse for over 26 years. She worked in the ICU on the night shift for 23 years and now enjoys her job in education. She has her BSN from Plattsburgh State University and her MSN from Capella University. She is originally from New York but currently lives in Skowhegan with her husband, diva cat, and crazy dog.
