This one-session class will take place in the presenter's home in Belgrade Lakes. The presenter has assembled one of the largest private collections of contemporary and traditional Iranian art, from 1966 to the present, and is a leading expert on the subject. There will be a detailed explanation of art forms and types, with many framed examples on the walls and traditional ceramic, metal, and woven fiber art to examine.

Gold Leaf member and presenter Eric Hooglund is an internationally recognized scholar of Iranian political and social history, from 1950 to the present. He also has been a collector of Iranian arts: calligraphy, carpets, ceramics, fine arts, handicrafts, films, and traditional music.
